We’re thrilled to announce that the Call for Proposals is now open for Open Source SecurityCon, a brand new event hosted by OpenSSF and CNCF, taking place on November 10, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.
As an official CNCF co-located event held alongside KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America, Open Source SecurityCon is a 1-day conference that brings together experts and practitioners from across the open source and security ecosystems. Whether you’re building secure cloud native infrastructure, improving software supply chain resilience, or shaping open source security policy, this is your opportunity to share your work and drive meaningful progress across the community.

What We’re Looking For
We’re accepting proposals across a range of open source security topics, including:
- Secure software development + supply chain security
- Leveraging AI in OSS security
- OSS consumption + end user perspectives
- OSPOs and open source security management
- Security advocacy, collaboration, and education
- Regulation, public policy, and governance
- Identity, access, and community trust
Submission Types
- Presentation: 25 minutes (1–2 speakers)
- Panel Discussion: 35 minutes (3–5 speakers, must represent at least 3 organizations; all-male panels will not be accepted)
Lightning Talk: 10 minutes (1 speaker)
