OpenSSF Security Job Board Launch

We are excited to announce the launch of the OpenSSF Security Job Board. This job board is meant to serve the community in two ways: allowing developers to view top-notch jobs in the security space and helping companies hire great people. By making the best security jobs easily accessible in one place, we aim to improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the open source software (OSS) security community.

For Job Seekers

Potential applicants can see a list of jobs available at https://openssf.jobboard.io/, where they can view more information about each job posting and apply for jobs. The job board focuses specifically on security jobs, in order to ensure jobs posted are the most relevant for the open source security community.

Applicants can also use the “Profiles” page to view additional information about each employer, and filter employers based on attributes such as keywords or location. Finally, applicants can subscribe for alerts to be notified of newly posted jobs.

For Employers

Employers can post jobs they’d like to share with the community at the “Post a Job” page. There are two types of jobs that can be posted: regular job postings and featured job postings. Anyone can post a job. For OpenSSF members, posting featured jobs is free. Non-members or companies can post jobs for a fee. Postings are active for 30 days until they expire, at which time they need to be re-listed to show up on the site again.

Utilize the OpenSSF Security Job Board

With this job board, our goal is to serve our community by connecting employers with talented applicants in the security space. As we launch the job board, we have a commitment to diversity and help make sure we can connect our community with various opportunities in the security field.
