- 👉 Submit your proposal: Submit a Proposal
Co-located with Open Source Summit North America, OpenSSF Community Day North America brings together maintainers, security practitioners, researchers, and community leaders to learn from one another and move the open source security ecosystem forward together.
We’re especially looking for community-driven talks that reflect real-world experience: what worked, what didn’t, and what are the key takeaways for the audience. Whether you’re sharing a hard-earned lesson, a practical approach, or an idea still in progress, your perspective helps strengthen the ecosystem.
As you prepare your proposal, consider:
- What do you hope to share or learn through your talk?
- What are the key takeaways for the audience?
- How does your experience help strengthen the ecosystem?
Are you a first-time speaker? We encourage you to submit your very first talk! We’re here to support you through a successful CFP. If you would like feedback on your abstract or help refining your idea, we are here to help. You don’t need to be an expert to share your security stories. If you’re curious about submitting a proposal or feeling unsure whether you “belong” on the program, What’s in the SOSS? Podcast #50 walks through the CFP process and offers reassurance from community members who’ve been there.
OpenSSF Community Day is a space to connect, exchange ideas, and build momentum as a community. We look forward to shaping this year’s program together!
