We are pleased to announce that OpenSSF Day Japan will be taking place on December 4, 2023 at the Ariake Central Tower Hall & Conference, colocated with Open Source Summit Japan in Tokyo, Japan. Registration is now open, and you are invited to submit your talk to the call for proposals (CFP) for OpenSSF Day Japan.

OpenSSF Day Japan is going to be a full day of interesting session presentations, panels, and lightning talks colocated with Open Source Summit Japan in Tokyo. Plan to join us to discuss the latest and greatest in ongoing efforts to secure the open source software supply chain.

The call for proposals for those who want to present their thoughts and latest work during this day is now open. Key dates include:

Please note that this is an in-person event and we ask that all speakers be prepared to present onsite. We are interested in presentations that cover topics that advance the OpenSSF commitment to advance open source security for all, including subjects such as security best practices, vulnerability discovery, securing critical projects, developing tooling for open source software (OSS) security, and the future of OSS security. Registration Information

Register now to join us for OpenSSF Day Japan. The rate to attend in person is $25 and includes lunch and coffee. Venue information is available on the event website. To register for OpenSSF Day, during your registration for Open Source Summit Japan, check the “OpenSSF Day” box on the registration form to sign up for it. Early Bird Registration for Open Source Summit is available through October 24, 2023. Or if you prefer, you may register for OpenSSF Day on its own. We are looking forward to an exciting day!
